From the American culinary, we are glad to present you the fried tempeh recipe cooked with several vegetables. A very healthy meal with a magnificent taste.
Fry the tempeh
To facilitate this recipe, start by makeing fried tempeh first. Pour the olive oil into a pan and add the crumbled tempeh by hand.
Heat over medium-low heat, stirring for about 5-6 minutes.
When you notice a brown golden colour appeared, stop cooking.
Meanwhile, prepare the sauce. Pour the tamari (if not soy sauce if you are not afraid of gluten) in a small bowl.
Then add the Dijon mustard acccompanied with the spoons of maple syrup and the dried garlic powder and oregano.
And finally the smoked paprika powder. It is the paprika that will give the smoky and delicious taste to this fried tempeh dish. Mix everything together to make the sauce.
Mix sauce with fried tempeh
Pour the sauce over the golden tempeh which has been put in a bowl.
Now mix the two set aside and reserve for later.
Prepare the vegetables
Thoroughly wash (or peel) small potatoes. Cut them into bite-size pieces, about 2-3 cm.
Pour the potatoes into the pan with neutral cooking oil. Brown them over medium heat, stirring often so that they brown evenly.
Once they are tender and nicely browned, set them aside on a plate.
While the potatoes are browning, clean the Brussels sprouts. Remove the stalk and the first damaged leaves.
Then cut the Brussels sprouts into thin slices. Reserve. And finely chop two large shallots.

Cooking the vegetables
Following the same step of fried tempeh, Start by browning the shallots in the pan, free of potatoes, over medium heat.
When the shallots have become soft add the chopped Brussels sprouts. Add 5 cl of water, cover and cook for 5 minutes. Uncover the pan and stir the cabbage until it begins to brown slightly.
Then add the potatoes to the pan.
Then the marinated tempeh and mix everything. Heat well, stirring for 2-3 minutes over high heat.
Serve the fried tempeh
