We present you one of the most known pie in the world, the Graham cracker crust. A delicious biscuit pie which is made with crushed cracker sheets. With its simple and easy steps this pie will blow your palates !
Making the graham cracker crust crumbs
Preheat the oven to 350°F. Set a rack in the middle position.
Start by crushing the biscuit sheets by put the graham crackers in a food processor, blend it until in finely grounded.
If you don’t have a food processor you can use this method. Put the broken graham crackers in a plastic freezer bag. Seal the bag and roll over with a rolling pin to crush the graham crackers until you see a fine crumbs.
Mixing the crumbs
Add the butter, sugar, salt, and optional orange zest and vanilla (if you want) to the food processor.

Creating the graham cracker pie mold
Pour the crumbs mixture slowly over the bottom of the pie pan. With your fingers (or you can use a measure cup), press it into the sides of the pan all around, and then into the bottom of the pan. Press well to get it fully rounded shape.
Cover a dry measuring cup with plastic wrap (to keep it from sticking to the crumbs). Starting with the sides first, gently re-press the crumbs into the pan to make them even and compact. Tamp down the crumbs on the bottom so the crumbs are even and compact.
Resting the graham cracker crust pie
Now let your graham crust chill. If you want to use this immediately and/or are filling it with an extra flavor, that doesn’t need baking, like the lemon Icebox Pie or heavy cream, you don’t have to bake first. Place the assembled crust in the freezer for about 15 minutes to allow the butter to become firm.
Now we bake the crust. If you want to bake this crust pie to get a toasty flavor it imparts before filling it, put it in the center of the oven for about 10 minutes, until you notice that the edges gets browned. Set the pie on a table to cool in a room temperature.
