If you have already celebrated Thanksgiving in the United States , you have surely seen this Pecans Pie on the table and, I hope for you, you have tasted and appreciated it, because it is a really good and tasty pie, although very sweet .
Preparation of the Dough
Mix all the flour, with icing sugar and salt in a large container
Cut the butter into it and add it to the flour and sugar mixture .
Then use your fingers to give a sand texture to your dough (Sandblasting)
Meanwhile, when your dough starts to be sandy, add the egg and continue to manually work your dough until you get a homogeneous set.
On your floured worktop that you are going to use, spread out your shortbread dough enough to place it in your pie plate, on a sheet of parchment paper .
Place your dough and let it cool in the fridge for 30 minutes at least .

The Trim of the Pecans pie
Preheat your tower to 180 degrees Celsius
Melt your butter and finely chop your pecans
Mix eggs, sugar, melted butter, maple syrup and chopped pecans.
Crush (break into small pieces) the pecans and spread them over your shortcrust pastry before pouring the filling over them.
Add the few remaining pecans on the whole for decoration and place in the oven for 30 minutes.
After 30 minutes, take out your pie and cover it with foil so that keeps a beautiful golden color. Return to the oven for 30 minutes. Check after 15 to 20 minutes if it is not already cooked, (some ovens are more powerful than others). To know if your pie is cooked or not yet, the filling must be firm.

Let it cool for an hour before enjoying your pecans pie with Chantilly cream and a good scoop of vanilla ice cream ( by choices ) .

We do not really know who, or when was invented this delicious pie that is often made from different ingredients: corn syrup , honey , maple syrup , molasses or sugar syrup ... The only common element to all Pecan Pie recipes are, of course, Pecans .
