Marinating and resting chicken
First of all wash the chicken thoroughly. Mix all the ingredients and marinate the chicken pieces. Keep it in the refrigerator for 8-12 hours. Remove it from the refrigerator at least 1 hour before grilling so that its temperature returns to normal.
Bake the chicken
Now heat the oven to 400 ° C. Cook the marinated chicken for 40-50 minutes until the top is crispy. If necessary, keep brushing with olive oil in between. Wrap this cooked chicken dish in aluminum foil and keep it in a deep tray. Keep the aluminum foil untouched, this will melt the fat from the chicken and easily leak out. Sprinkle corn flour on top of each piece of chicken.
How to cook chicken the right way
After 20 minutes, flip the chicken with the help of tongs and cook the other side too by sprinkling maize flour. Remove the fat that is coming out, otherwise it will start to become black and burned. After 5 minutes, cook the chicken by turning it so that its color turns brown.
Rest the tandoori chicken to get a crispy taste
Even after turning off the oven, leave it in the oven for 10 minutes. This will keep the chicken pieces dry and crispy from outside and juicy from inside. Serve this chicken tandoori with salad, chapati or naan with mint coriander sauce.
