Italian veal stew recipe that is perfect for the colder months of autumn. Follow these easy steps and you will make it!
Prepare the veal stew meat
Brown the meat in a little soft butter until the pieces are a little golden.
Sprinkle with 2 spoons of flour. Stir well.
Add 2 or 3 glasses of water, bouillon cubes, wine and stir. Add water if necessary to cover.
Prepare the stew vegetables
Cut the carrots into rings and mince the onions, then incorporate them into the meat, as well as the mushrooms.
Simmer over very low heat for about 1h30 to 2h00 while stirring.
If necessary, add water from time to time.
In a bowl, mix the crème fraîche, egg yolk and lemon juice well. Add this mixture at the last moment, stir well and serve your immediately.
